江苏农林职业技术学院创建于1923年，现为中国特色高水平高职院校A档建设单位、国家示范性高职院校、全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校。历经百年耕耘，学院已发展为以农业类专业为主体的综合型高等职业院校，形成了以本部校区、茅山校区相协同，江苏农博园（国家3A级景区）、江苏茶博园（国家4A级景区）相呼应的办学格局。学院占地面积6000亩，建筑面积33万平方米，在校生12000多人，拥有博士学位教师187人，现设10个二级学院、42个专业，覆盖农林牧渔、食品药品与粮食、资源环境与安全、生物与化工、装备制造、财经商贸、电子与信息、交通运输、旅游、轻工纺织、土木建筑、文化艺术等12个专业大类。学院连续六年获评全省高校综合考核第一等次。

Jiangsu Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry (JSAFC), founded in 1923, is now anA-grade institution under China's "Double High" Plan for vocational colleges,aNational Model Higher Vocational College,and aNational Exemplary Institution for Rural Revitalization Talent Cultivation.After a century of development, it has evolved into a comprehensive higher vocational institution focused on agricultural disciplines, featuring a coordinatedmain campusandMaoshan campus,complemented byJiangsu Agricultural Expo Park (National AAA-level Tourist Attraction)andJiangsu Tea Expo Park (National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction).The college spans6,000 mu (approximately 400 hectares)with330,000 square meters of floor area,hostingover 12,000 studentsand employing187 faculty members holding doctoral degrees.It operates10 secondary collegesoffering42 programsacross12 major disciplines,includingagriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries, food and pharmaceuticals, natural resources and safety, biotechnology and chemical engineering, equipment manufacturing, finance and commerce, electronics and information, transportation, tourism, light industry and textiles, civil engineering, and culture and arts.The institutionhas ranked first in Jiangsu's comprehensive higher education evaluations for six consecutive years (2019-2024).

学院深化教育教学改革，人才培养质量显著提升。近五年，学生获得全国职业院校技能大赛一等奖25项，位列全国农业类赛项第一，入选世界技能大赛中国集训队12人。学院率先在全国探索农村基层治理定制人才培养，累计招收学生2010人，毕业生98%以上在村级（涉农社区）组织任职，被省委组织部确立为全省唯一“定制村干”培育学校。“定制村干”培育工程两次写进省委“一号文件”，受到中央高层关注。涌现了“全国创新创业英才奖”获得者吴中平、“全国乡村振兴青年先锋标兵”华梦丽等一批毕业生创新创业典型。近年来，我院学子获得包括中国“互联网+”创新创业大赛8个金奖在内的省级以上奖项170余项。

The college hassignificantly advanced its educational and teaching reforms,leading tonotable improvements in talent cultivation quality.Over the past five years, students have secured25 first prizes in the National Vocational College Skills Competition,ranking first in agricultural categories nationwide, with12 students selected for the WorldSkills China National Training Team.Pioneering the"Customized Village Cadre Training Program"for rural grassroots governance, the college has enrolled2,010 students,withover 98% of graduates employed in village-level (or agriculture-related community) organizations,earning recognition asJiangsu Province's sole institution authorized by the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department for this initiative.The program has beentwice highlighted in the Provincial Party Committee's annual "No.1 Policy Document"and garneredhigh-level attention from central authorities.Outstanding alumni includeWu Zhongping,recipient of the"National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Award",andHua Mengli,honored as a"National Pioneer in Rural Revitalization",among other entrepreneurial role models. In recent years, students have achieved8 gold medals in the China "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competitionandover 170 provincial and national awards.

学院实施有组织科研和成果推广，获得省部级科研成果奖励25项。获批国家自然科学基金20项，位列全国职业院校前列。主动服务乡村振兴战略，重点研发推广的草业、应时果蔬、茶业、彩叶苗木、种业等五大产业，现已被省政府确定为丘陵地区优势主导产业。成功打造了“一棵小草富农民、一粒种子强农业、一片叶子美农村”等“三张名片”。推广农作物良种500万亩，建有草坪草示范基地16万多亩，推广彩叶苗木20万多亩，辐射20多个省（市），带动6万户农民致富。

Thecollegehasimplementedorganizedscientificresearchandachievementpromotion,securing25provincialandministerial-levelscientificresearchachievementawards,andobtaining20NationalNaturalScienceFoundationprojects,rankingamongthetopinnationalvocationalcolleges.Byactivelyservingtheruralrevitalizationstrategy,ithasfocusedondevelopingandpromotingfivekeyindustries—grasslandagriculture,seasonalfruitsandvegetables,tea,color-leafedseedlings,andseedcultivation—nowofficiallydesignatedbytheprovincialgovernmentasdominantindustriesinhillyregions.Thecollegehassuccessfullyestablishedthreesignatureinitiatives:"ABladeofGrassEnrichesFarmers,""ASeedStrengthensAgriculture,"and"ALeafBeautifiesRuralAreas."Theseeffortshaveledtothepromotionofimprovedcropseedsacross5millionmu(approximately333,333hectares),theestablishmentofgrasslanddemonstrationbasesspanningover160,000mu(10,666hectares),andthedisseminationofcolor-leafedseedlingsacross200,000mu(13,333hectares),radiatingacrossover20provinces(municipalities)andboostingtheincomeof60,000farminghouseholds.

学院积极开展新型农业经营主体培训，年培训培养农民、农技人员2万余人次。分别与云南普洱、新疆伊犁、西藏拉萨签订结对帮扶战略协议，开展西部对口支援工作，带动西部地区农牧产业及职业教育发展，近3年培训2000余人次。开展对口帮扶新疆应用职业技术学院、克孜勒苏职业技术学院、甘肃培黎职业学院、青海交通职业技术学院等工作。

The college hasactively conducted annual training programs for new-type agricultural business entities,reachingover 20,000 farmers and agricultural technicians annually.It hassigned pairing assistance strategic agreements with Pu'er (Yunnan), Yili (Xinjiang), and Lhasa (Tibet)toadvance western counterpart support initiatives,driving the development of agricultural, pastoral industries, and vocational education in western regions,withmore than 2,000 trainees over the past three years.Additionally, it hasimplemented targeted support programs for Xinjiang Vocational College of Applied Technology, Kizilsu Vocational Technical College, Gansu Peili Vocational College, and Qinghai Vocational College of Transportation,fostering vocational education collaboration and regional development.

学院坚持走国际化、特色化办学道路，主动融入和服务“一带一路”倡议，中法农业培训和乡村振兴服务中心、农业农村部农业科技支撑与人才培训基地等平台落户学院。学院与20多个国家30多个海外院校及企业开展交流与合作，共建了中肯、中老现代农业科技示范园。学院与中航国际、隆平高科等“走出去”企业合作，承办了科特迪瓦及乌干达来华职教师资等来华培训项目，近5年累计派出近30名教师分别赴肯尼亚、加蓬、埃塞俄比亚等国开展农机、蔬菜种植、畜牧养殖等专业近万人次的援外师资培训。校企联合开发并向沿线国家推广了9个专业教学标准、73个课程标准等职教资源，牵头全国12所院校，完成了10个专业大类180个中非职业技能等级证书标准编制，并作为中非职教重要成果在中非论坛期间发布。学院与江苏华越等“走出去”企业、海外院校、科研机构分别建设了肯尼亚、埃塞俄比亚和坦桑尼亚“神农学院”，注册覆盖非洲、东盟等区域40多个国家。“神农学院”项目被国家国际发展合作署纳入全球共享发展行动论坛第二届高级别会议成果，先后三次获得江苏省政府“1113工程”立项资助，并入选“未来非洲—中非职业教育合作特色项目”。学院获批建设教育部“中文工坊”、农业农村部首批涉外培训交流合作点，获评中国—东盟卓越职教合作伙伴，三次获评来华留学生先进集体。

The college adheres to an international and distinctive educational path, actively integrating into and serving the Belt and Road Initiative. Platforms such as the Sino-French Agricultural Training and Rural Revitalization Service Center, along with the Agricultural Science and Technology Support and Talent Training Base under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, have been established at the institution. It has fostered exchanges and collaborations with over 30 overseas universities and enterprises across more than 20 countries, jointly establishing modern agricultural technology demonstration parks in China-Kenya and China-Laos partnerships.In collaboration with "going-global" enterprises like AVIC International and Longping High-Tech, the college has hosted training programs for vocational education teachers from Côte d'Ivoire and Uganda in China. Over the past5years, nearly 30 faculty members have been dispatched to Kenya, Gabon, Ethiopia, and other nations, delivering over 10,000 training sessions in agricultural machinery, vegetable cultivation, and livestock farming. Jointly developed with enterprises, the college has promoted9professional teaching standards and 73 curriculum standards to countries along the Belt and Road. Leading 12 institutions nationwide, it completed the formulation of 180 China-Africa vocational skill certification standards across 10 major disciplines, recognized as significant achievements in China-Africa vocational education during the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.In partnership with "going-global" enterprises like JiangsuExcellence Group,overseas universities, and research institutions, the college established ShennongInstitute of Agriculturein Kenya, Ethiopia, and Tanzania, registered across over 40 countries in Africa and ASEAN regions. TheShennong Institute of Agricultureinitiative was included in the outcomes of the Global Shared Development Action Forum’s second high-level meeting by China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), received3rounds of funding under Jiangsu Province’s "1113 Project," and was selected for the "FutureAfrica:China-AfricaVocational Education Cooperation Featured Program."The college was approved to establish the Ministry of Education’sCenter for Chinese Language and Professional Skills,and designated as one of the first international training exchange hubs by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. It has been honored as a China-ASEAN Outstanding Vocational Education Partner and recognized3times as an Advanced Group for International Students inJiangsu Province.

学院先后荣获国家教学成果一等奖2项、二等奖7项，荣获全国教育系统先进集体、全国深化创新创业教育改革示范高校、黄炎培优秀学校等称号。学院牵头组建的中国现代农业职教集团，现为首批国家示范性职教集团。

The college has been honored withtwo National First Prizesandseven National Second Prizes in Teaching Achievement Awards,along with titles such as"National Advanced Collective in Education","National Model Institution for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform",and"Outstanding Huang Yanpei Vocational School".TheChina Modern Agricultural Vocational Education Group,spearheaded by the college, has been recognized as one of thefirst National Exemplary Vocational Education Groups,solidifying its leadership in agricultural education and rural development.
